Andy served as Channel 4's fifth Chief Executive from July 2004 to November 2009.

Channel 4 has recently won strong endorsement in the Government's Digital Britain Report as the alternative public sector network alongside the BBC. Channel 4 has pioneered in digital, becoming the world's first broadcaster to launch a full scale video-on-demand service, which since 2006 has served over 300m items of long form video. Another highlight includes creating the £50m 4IP digital innovation fund.
