John Whiter (Chair)
John has had a long and successful career in Financial Services. His training as a Chartered Accountant and nearly 20 years as a Partner in an international Accounting firm served as an ideal platform for him to become the CFO of what became a FTSE 250 Reinsurance Broking company, Benfield, now part of Aon Corporation.
This experience has enabled him to take on a portfolio of City based directorships in Insurance Underwriting, Insurance Broking and Occupational Healthcare, together with substantial interests in the charitable sector.
John has had extensive practical experience in finding solutions to a wide range of business issues and involvement over many years in business acquisitions, disposals and strategic planning.
