Caroline Taylor

Caroline Taylor is Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Citizenship for IBM UK & Ireland.  Based in London, Caroline leads a 200 person team, responsible for both IBM’s Reputation and Sales Pipeline Development – from strategy through to execution.

In addition to her UK & Ireland role, Caroline also leads the go to market strategy for IBM’s energy, environment and sustainability initiatives in Northeast Europe, and is a regular speaker on all things ‘Green’.

Previously at IBM, Caroline spent 2 years as VP Marketing for IBM’s SMB organisation, 3 years as Director of Marketing for IBM’s consulting services division and 8 years as a senior marketing manager, first in the EMEA software division and then in the systems and technology division.

Caroline joined IBM in 1997, following 6 years in the independent software sector in sales and marketing roles.  Prior to building her career in the technology sector, Caroline spent 8 years working in fine wine retail, including building and running her own mail order wine business.

Married, with 2 adult daughters, Caroline is also a trustee of the charity Stop the Traffik, a charity which coordinates a global coalition against the modern day slave trade.
