Grimsby hub
Oasis works in two communities in the Grimsby area through Oasis Academy Immingham and Oasis Academy Wintringham, both of which opened in September 2007.
Oasis Academy Immingham caters for 1,150 students in the 11-19 age range and specialises in Engineering & Commerce, with an enterprising focus.
Oasis Academy Wintringham caters for 1,100 students in the 11-19 age range, working in partnership with other local post-16 providers. The Academy specialises in Sport & Health, with an enterprising focus.
Like all our hubs, our work across Grimsby is about serving the local community which is why we plan to provide such facilities as adult learning opportunities and out-of-hours youth activities.
Both Academies will move into their new, state-of-the-art buildings in early 2009. The buildings will provide an opportunity to showcase students' work as well as offer valuable facilities and opportunities for local community involvement.
