Salford hub
Our work in Salford is based in and around the Salford Quays area, which is the site of the BBC's MediaCityUK development.
In September 2008, Oasis Academy MediaCityUK will open in the existing building of Hope High School, Salford and in September 2011 staff and students will move to a brand new state-of-the-art building located on Salford Quays.
The Academy will cater for 1,150 students aged 11-19 and will specialise in Media and ICT, with an enterprising focus.
As well as catering for the students, Oasis Academy MediaCityUK will provide a whole range of services for the local community, helping it develop its role as the hub of the community.

Oasis is also working in the Salford community through Salford Central Church, a church that is part of the Church.co.uk Network, based on the Ordsall estate.

Salford Central Church has a large focus on youth and community work, with the aim of serving the entire local community.
