Moving On – with Higher Education at Oasis College
Oasis has been offering undergraduate training for youth workers for over a decade. Now, in an exciting venture for 2009, the recently formed Oasis College is launching three new higher education courses validated through Staffordshire University.
We are using our experience from across the Oasis family to provide training for people working across the spectrum of age groups in the children and young people's workforce. Awards are available at Cert.H.E., Foundation Degree and B.A. (Hons) level in Youth, Children's, and Family Support Work.
The courses are fully subscribed with twenty-eight students starting the programme this year; and we are recruiting now for September 2010 when we also anticipate launching a new post-graduate programme with an M.A. in Creative Communities (for community leaders and experienced practitioners).
