Pastoral support
We understand that for many people, the issues raised in Steve’s article may have a profound personal impact.
We want to provide a listening ear to people who are – or who have friends or family who are – personally affected by these issues.
What can we offer?
We are offering a pastoral support service that will provide a listening ear. We will not attempt to direct you on what you should do; instead we will listen to your situation, seek to understand your feelings and do what we can to reiterate our belief that God loves and accepts you whoever you are.
This helpline will not be a professional counselling service but if your needs are different to that which we can accommodate we will do our best to signpost you to an organisation that can help.
How does the helpline work?
Between the hours of 10AM – 1PM, Monday-Friday you can phone up to request an appointment. We will then take a note of your details and give you a time that someone will phone back to speak to you further. Alternatively you can book an appointment over email. The contact information is:
