Welcome to the 14th edition of Newsround!
The theme of this issue is peace and well-being.
Oasis has a vision for the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, economic, educational, and ecological well-being of people and communities. So by wellbeing, we mean much more than physical health.
And by peace, we don't just mean freedom from worry, or an absence of war - indeed many of the articles in this edition have been written by people facing danger or threatening situations.
Rather, we mean something that can be summed up by the Hebrew word, 'Shalom'. Shalom is God's holistic plan for creation. It means physical sufficiency, transparent relationships and overall well-being - without debilitating illness, stress, or threat. Oasis is working to bring shalom to every community in which we operate.
Oasis is now in its 25th year of serving people and striving to bring shalom into the lives of those in our communities. We hope you enjoy reading about some of the ways in which we do this.
