The March 2011 team is for those over-50 with skills in teaching/business/vocational training, who would be able to run workshops and training for Oasis staff and project beneficiaries.

More details: We are very pleased to once again offer a Teams placement in Zimbabwe. The Gap Year and June Focus teams will primarily do children's and youth work, hospital visits, spend time with the girls at the Tanaka Project, help at pre-schools and serve practically with simple building and painting work. The June team are also likely to be involved in running a childrens' holiday club, as well as sports and recreation activities for students at a local school.

Oasis Zimbabwe will take excellent care of these Teams, but you will need to be a flexible, patient and adventurous person - e.g. there will be times where you have to manage without electricity, and carry around your own drinking water. If you are up for the challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to serve and be stretched in your character and faith.
