Cost
Our placements are self-funded and to take part you’ll also be required to raise your own financial support (costs vary depending on length and nature of placement) but don’t let this put you off. We offer help and advice with this every step of the way.
Type of Placement:
There are two options when it comes to International Placements:

- Professional Placements
International Staff
Oasis has projects and partners around the world in need of people with specific skills. Roles vary from specific technical/professional requirements to more general management, coordination and administration. Ultimately we want to match your interest, skills and experience with a real need in one of our projects or with one of our partners.
You would be working on two-year contracts, with the first 21 months spent working at your placement and then three months in the UK, resting, visiting and promoting your work.
You will be taken on as an Oasis member of staff and in most cases you will be responsible directly to people in the local organisation, whilst retaining a strong link to the Oasis team in the UK.
You will need to raise the funds to support yourself and have a group of people committed to praying for you. If this is the right step for you, you'll be amazed at the way it all comes together.
Professional Placements
If you want live and work abroad but are not yet ready for a long-term commitment, Oasis Professional Placements are for you.
Placements can be as short as 5 months and as long as 2 years. We have some specific placements that we are looking to fill but we can also work to help create others to suit your skills, experience and interest. Again, you will be asked to raise sufficient funds to cover the cost of your placement.
