Schools Liaison for Ethical Food Project

The purpose of this role is to organize a project which helps schools operate co-operatives buying and selling locally produced fruit that has been certified as free of human trafficking and other exploitation by Oasis Belgium. This role will include teaching lessons on trafficking, the benefits of local produce and nutrition.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Promote the project in schools
- Deliver lessons (materials provided)
- Give general advice to schools engaged in the project
- Help to co-ordinate schools contacts with local farmers
- Prepare reports for Oasis Belgium
Personal Specification:
- Creative person with good interpersonal skills
- Dutch/Flemish language skills essential
- French language skills would be a bonus
- Experience in working within the field of small business or related work would be a bonus
