Communications Manager and Administrator

The Successful Applicant Will:
- Write and/or edit and distribute a monthly newsletter.
- Create brochures about Oasis Kyrgyzstan and human trafficking.
- Create and maintain the www.oasiskg.org website.
- Handle communication with Oasis staff, the Link Academies and donors across the world.
- Handle any (English-language) administrative tasks and correspondence given by the Country Director.
- Work with local accountant to handle the Oasis KG financial accounts.
- Keep up-to-date on new developments and publications within the field of children in crisis and ensure that Oasis KG staff have access to the newest publications (English).
- Deal with translator to get key publications and other important documents translated.
- Carry out research tasks including:
- Desk research and literature review;
- Create and use database for input and analysis of relevant data (Kyrgyzstan and CIS).
Personal Specification:
- Experience in administration preferred
- Experience in communications and/or project management preferred
- Committed team worker with a cooperative, flexible, and dependable character
- Faithful Christian committed to the Ethos of Oasis
- Ability to speak Russian or Kyrgyz and English greatly preferred
- Willingness to learn Russian and/or Kyrgyz or improve level of ability necessary
