Cost and finance
Becoming part of threesixty costs £2000 for the 11-month programme (payable by August). This may seem a bit daunting but it includes all the training you will receive as well as course materials, a number of publications, pastoral care, support from Oasis staff, as well as your accommodation. Any work related travel will also be covered by the placement.
You will need to raise all the money you need to cover your food and other living costs such as pocket money or your mobile phone. Those on threesixty usually say that £200 per month is more than enough.
Don't let this put you off though - we are here to help you with some fundraising ideas to set about reaching your fundraising targets. Check out our Fundraising ideas here to get you started.
Earn as you serve
Built into threesixty is the option to gain part-time paid employment within the local area for up to 4 sessions per week, should you choose to. Taking this option will help you gain valuable work experience and, in particular, be able to seek ways to relate your ongoing training to the work place and the wider community. Even being paid the minimum wage will enable you to earn a very reasonable amount during your time with Oasis and, of course, you may have skills that enable you to earn considerably more.
