The #captaintom100 takes place from 30 April to 2 May 2021 in celebration of what would have been Captain Tom’s 101st birthday and in memory of the amazing legacy he left behind for us all.

The idea is for individuals and groups to dream up their own challenge based on the number 100 and do it locally. It can be literally anything – 100 laps of the park, 100 miles on a static bike, 100 hula hoops, 100 penalty shots, 100 baby steps with your toddler, 10 trampoline bounces, collecting 100 pieces of litter – anything as long as it happens between 30 April and 2 May 2021.

Last year supporters in a similar event helped us to raise over £20,000 for our emergency food programmes and we are appealing for your help this year to provide vital mental health care and support for children and young people who have been deeply affected by missed education and isolation in the coronavirus pandemic.

If you would like to take part, here’s how to sign up and create your fundraising page
