Caretaker's Residence transforms into new community hub centre in Warndon

The opening of a new building is another story in Oasis’ journey of building strong communities and securing bright futures. This past month, Oasis Hub Warndon's new community centre has been an exciting addition to the work of Oasis. This is an opportunity for community leaders to come alongside a bustling neighbourhood. Thanks to the generosity of Fortis Living and their partners, Oasis transformed the former caretaker’s house of Oasis Academy Wardnon into a highly-anticipated community centre.

Dave Parr, CEO of Oasis Community Partnerships stated, was at the official opening to cut ribbon, and celebrate the new centre in the community. He finds, “Across the country Oasis Community Partnerships offers a wide-variety of bespoke services for the communities that we are privileged to serve.  Our work is only possible thanks to the generosity of others, and we are very grateful to Fortis and their partners for all that they have done in creating our new Oasis Warndon Community Hub.  We are excited to move in and get started – this community work will benefit thousands of local residents for many years to come.”  

Some of the benefits the new hub's centre is expected to offer are a baby and toddler group, debt advice services, and adult learning courses. All these provisions are opportunities for Warndon community members to reach their God-given potential.
