Oasis Christmas Appeal 2019

Oasis Christmas Appeal 2019

I was hungry and you gave me something to eat

The UK is the sixth largest economy in the world. Yet hunger is a real and daily problem in our communities. In the school holidays, families will struggle to feed themselves, and that’s where our food projects come in.

A gift of £60 could provide an emergency Christmas food parcel for a family of four.

I was sick and you looked after me

Christmas brings extra financial pressure and stress to people who are already hard-pressed. Oasis debt and advice services are a lifeline for community members struggling to access benefits, survive the wait time for Universal Credit and manage spiralling debt.

A gift of £25 could fund a vital advice or support session for someone in crisis.

I was a stranger and you invited me in

With knife crime on the rise in communities across the UK, young people need safe places to go outside of school hours where they can have fun and thrive. Equally, older people in our communities need places for social connection, combatting loneliness and isolation.

A gift of £100 could fund a youth or senior’s Christmas Party.
