We have two vacancies in our Aspire Employability Team for experienced coaches (Navigators) to join our Moving On Tyne and Wear team (2 x 37 hours posts) and a new post for an experienced part-time Admin and Compliance Officer (18.5) hours.

About Moving on Tyne and Wear

Moving On Tyne & Wear (MOTW) is joint-funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund, and aims to support people with a range of complex needs across Tyne and Wear to move towards or into training and employment. Through the MOTW programme Oasis Community Housing works with people in Gateshead who are a long way from the job market and face health barriers to access employment, proactively working to reduce the barriers people face.

Moving On (Tyne & Wear) Navigators @ Oasis Community Housing (2 Vacancies)

Salary:                        £19,500 per annum

Two Posts:                 2 x 37 hours posts

Contract:                    Fixed term to March 2023

About the Navigator Role (s)

You will manage a caseload of participants in Gateshead providing them with 1:1 support, helping them to overcome barriers to employment and training, coaching and supporting them to reach their full potential. You will provide support remotely and face to face as appropriate. You will be qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent and IAG level 2 with previous experience of working with people in a coaching/ mentoring environment in a paid or unpaid capacity. You will need experience of working with people experiencing health problems and other barriers to learning and employment. An understanding of the benefits system is essential.

For the Admin and Compliance Officer role

Salary:                        £18,500 per annum pro-rata

Hours:                        18.5 hours per week

Contract:                    Fixed term to March 2023

You will be highly organised with great attention to detail and used to producing activity reports and financial records and monitoring information to agreed deadlines. You will provide essential administrative support to our Team Leader and three MOTW Navigators and ensure that records are kept up to date and archived correctly. You must be confident in using ICT (Microsoft Office 365, word, excel and databases) and enjoy dealing with people face to face on the telephone.

Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory references, meeting essential criteria and Enhanced DBS (dependent on role).
