This is an exciting opportunity to join our Crisis Services Team in leading our Basis Beds project in Sunderland. You will be a part of our mission in making a real difference to the lives of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You will use your knowledge of homelessness, in particular housing first approaches to lead a team supporting a large number of people in our dispersed supported housing programme. This will include the line management of support staff. The aim is to support people towards independence and a future free from the challenges of multiple disadvantage.

We are seeking a candidate with a positive outlook and experience of working with people who have complex needs. You must have experience of leading and motivating a team. An understanding of Safeguarding, the benefits system and substance misuse is essential. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to build cooperative working relationships.

Salary: Starting salary is £29,400 per annum.  The band goes up to £32,500 per annum pro rata, however, this is dependent on annual performance reviews.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
