What is the Ride London?

The RideLondon-Surrey 100 is London’s biggest cycling event, with over 25,000 cyclists all taking on this celebrated 100 mile route through city and countryside.

Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, riders enjoy an exclusive traffic free route out to Surrey’s beautiful countryside, take on the famous Box Hill and Leith Hill, before heading back into London to finish on The Mall.

Join us and we’ll help vulnerable people realise their potential and give them a fair shot at a brighter future!

How we'll help...

  • We’ll provide you with a running jersey!
  • We’ll send you a fundraising pack outlining how to create your fundraising page, along with some tips from some of our top fundraisers in the past.
  • You’ll have a direct line into the fundraising team to support you whenever you need us to
  • We can write support letters, help book venues for a fundraiser – our support is endless

*I want to ride for Oasis, but I'm not sure I can commit to fundraising that amount?

Ultimately the life-changing work of Oasis relies on our event fundraising. However, with our commitment to inclusion, we would encourage you to apply anyway and make a comment about how much you'd be willing to commit to. We're always happy to have a conversation.  And if interest is low, a rider with a lower fundraising commitment is better than no rider at all!

I have my own place in this event, how can I join Team Oasis?

Way to go for securing your own place. We’d be silly to say no – welcome on board!

To join our team, just send us an email at fundraising@oasisuk.org. We’re happy to provide all the fundraising support listed above.

Can I apply for an Oasis charity place if I have entered the ballot?

Absolutely! If you have already been successful in the ballot, we’ll refund your registration fee as long as you use your ballot place to ride for Oasis.

What happens if I'm injured?

We hope this doesn’t happen, but if you suffer an injury before race day we will carry your spot over to the following year. You’ll be given first choice the following year to give it another try!

When do I have to fundraise £400 by?

21 July. This will be outlined in a cyclist agreement all our selected teammates sign.

What happens if I don't reach my fundraising target?

If you’ve bought an Oasis charity place in an event, we'll ask you to reach a minimum fundraising target. This will cover the cost of the event place and administration fees that Oasis pays, and help provide support to vulnerable people across the UK.

If you're concerned you won’t reach your fundraising target, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. As mentioned we are here to support you – never feel bad asking for help. We have lots of ideas that have proven to work and we may be able to extend your deadline, so that you have that little bit longer to fundraise We're on hand to help you out with tips and ideas that will help you reach your target and we may be able to extend your deadline, so that you have that little bit longer to fundraise.

I've never fundraised before and I'm running out of ideas.  What do I do?

Luckily you’re not at this alone. Our team is very experienced with individual fundraising challenges and will be at your side with ideas, encouragement and whatever else we can help with.

How do I pay in my fundraising?

All our runners are provided with a fundraising pack and support from our team outlining all options to pay in!

**Riders who raise over £650 will be refunded back their registration fee.
