I believe there is huge untapped talent imagination and curiosity among the the the the the young people who are detained in in in in the the the the the youth justice system Working with with them them them to help them them them develop new life skills and learning by providing them them them with with training or or qualifications in in in in in in in in in areas in in in in in in in in in which they have an an an an an interest is an an an an an exciting prospect We will be ambitious for for every young person in in in in in in our care and plan pathways for for transition into into the the the the community or or or into into the the the the wider custodial estate from the the the first day that they arrive Interrupting the patterns of system failure that have held back too many young people will be a a a a a a a a challenge not only for for us us but for for the the whole youth justice system But I’m confident that the the the team we are building at at at at Oasis Restore will create a a a a a a a a a a secure school which which revolutionises the the the way society rehabilitates young people and which which restores hope
