Oasis St Martin’s Village
Situated in the heart of Tulse Hill, south London, Oasis St Martin’s is bringing together a whole village of opportunity, to serve young people and their families.
This exciting new venture brings together local partners and local community to achieve the best for every child and young person.
A place to thrive!
Oasis St Martin’s Village is home to a whole range of community organisations and partners working together to provide wraparound support, education, sports, and a host of out-of-school opportunities for young people across south London.
As our name suggests, all our work is based around the principle that “it takes a village to raise a child.” We will be working with local schools and families to give children the opportunity to explore their strengths, skills, and creativity, with activities tailored to meet their interests. We hope the village will become a place of real community and growth together.

Meet our partners
Oasis St Martin’s brings together an exciting range of local community partners to work together with local people. Here are some of our founding partners.
Rekindle
Rekindle sparks a love of learning in young people aged 11-14. We support their education, aspirations, and wellbeing through a creative and cultural curriculum. Our weekday sanctuary (open 4-7pm) offers mentoring, homework help, meals, access to professional networks, holiday clubs, and more—all free of charge.
Symphony
Symphony Studios at Oasis St Martins primarily serves young people from the African and Caribbean communities, creating a vibrant hub for academia, arts, and advocacy in South London. Our facilities will offer free GCSE exam tuition, music and production classes, AI and content creation, a music studio, rehearsal spaces, and a study library.
Palace for Life Foundation
At Palace for Life Foundation, we work in partnership with local organisations to help improve the lives of young south Londoners. We’re looking forward to providing an inclusive sports and wellbeing programme at Oasis St Martins.
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing
At Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing we believe everyone should have a decent home and the chance to live well. We’re one of the local housing providers in Tulse Hill. We offer training, events, and activities designed to boost employment opportunities and foster stronger community.
YCUK
YCUK is the UK’s first impact-lead creative agency, reimagining how creativity works with underrepresented young people. We provide peer-to-peer learning, equipment lending, paid work, and creative workshops, supporting young people’s journeys into media industries – photography, film, and graphic design.
Building on a great legacy
St Martin-in-the-Fields High School for Girls was opened in 1699 to enfranchise children – specifically girls – who would otherwise have found themselves excluded from education and opportunity. Thomas Tenison, then Vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields, and later Archbishop of Canterbury, did a remarkable thing by establishing a school for girls at a time when no one cared about their education.
We hope Oasis St Martins Village will do a similarly bold thing! As custodians of Tenison’s legacy, we want to turn the rising tide of school absenteeism and exclusions, to make sure that all young people have real opportunity to thrive.
