Social supermarket and advice centre
You can’t get a lift on this Isle of Sheppey bus but you can access the food pantry and advice on debt and benefits.
It was launched last week by Steve Chalke, Tim Lambkin, (whose company, Travelmasters, donated the bus to Oasis), Major Lynne Clifton, of the The Salvation Army, and Paul Murray, who is a community worker at Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey. The Academy has been regularly delivering food to 165 families throughout the pandemic.
Thanks to all sponsors and donors who helped raise £12,000 to kit the bus out as a social supermarket!
