The “Building an Active Church” event will be held on Saturday, 30 April, 10am-3pm at Oasis Hub MediaCityUK in Salford.
Active Church is aimed at anyone interested in helping us to create an action plan that sets out the first steps towards building a progressive, inclusive, activist church in Salford.
Steve Chalke will host the one-day event to looking at the difference a local church is making in inner-city London and how the lessons learned could be applied to change the community in Salford.

The day will include:
- The theology which underpins the Oasis/URC partnership
- An overview from Steve and Nath on the role of Oasis Church Waterloo
- A ‘community clinic’: how to do this in Salford
- Plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
